Creative Dimensions has three different types of packages: Test Preparation, Subject Area Tutoring, and Test Simulations.  Since these are different prices, you must be sure that you select the correct type of package depending on the type of lesson you would like to schedule.

Note: When using our online scheduling system, the client assumes responsibility for all credit card charges Please make sure that you have selected the correct type of package and number of lessons before finalizing your transaction. As per the Parental Enrollment Agreement, Creative Dimensions offers no refunds.

Test Preparation

Test Preparation lessons include SAT, ACT, PSAT, SAT Subject Tests, AP Tests, ISEE, SSAT, GMAT, GRE, and LSAT.  If you are booking any of these lessons (with a non-director), you must choose something that says "XXX Session Package", where XXX is the number of lessons you would like to book.

If you are booking lessons with one of our directors, Dr. Andrea or Jay Blumenthal, you must choose something that says "XXX Session Package - Andrea, Director" or "XXX Session Package - Jay, Director".

The minimum number of lessons that are required in a given subject area is 5.  If you have gone through our program and are doing "refresher" lessons, then you can book less than the minimum.

NOTE: You may have to purchase more than one type of package to get the desired number of lessons.

Subject Area Tutoring

Subject Area Tutoring packages are used for lessons designed to help a student with their schoolwork or general study habits.  This can include language arts (help with english, writing, grammar, vocabulary, etc.), mathematics (algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, etc.) , history (US, World, European, etc.), chemisty, physics, test taking skills, organizational skills, etc.

If you are booking subject area tutoring lessons, you must choose something that says "XXX Session Subject Area Tutoring".

There are no minimums required when booking these lessons.

Simulations

Simulations are offered on Saturdays mornings and are listed as "Events".

If you are booking a test simulation, you must choose something that says "1 Test Simulation Package".

These are no minimums when booking these lessons.

Note: Creative Dimensions specials/discounts are not automatically applied when you purchase lessons yourself.  If Creative Dimensions is running a special, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THE PACKAGE YOURSELF.  You will not get the discounted price.  You must call the office at 973-765-0006 to take advantage of the discounted prices.

Scheduling Lessons (back to top)

Before you can book lessons, you need to purchase a package.

On the upper left hand side of the screen, first select a tutor, then select a service.  That tutor's schedule will then appear below.

Click on a day to see a tutor's availability.  The white spaces are available appointments.

Click on a time to schedule the appointment.

Select a package from the drop-down menu and click the "Finalize Appointment" button to book the lesson.   If the package you selected is full (i.e., you've already booked all the lessons in the package), you will need to select a different package (if one is available) or purchase a new package.

Before you can book events, you need to purchase a package.

Events, which are generally simulations, are listed on the lower left hand side of the screen.  Click on the event you would like to book and click the "Finalize Appointment" button to book the lesson.  If you have not purchased a Test Simulation package, you will be asked to purchase one before you can book the event.

Cancelling a Lesson or Event (back to top)

To cancel a lesson, go to the "Existing Appointments" on the main screen.  Click on the "Cancel" button next to the lesson or event you would like to cancel.  A pop-up box will ask you to give a reason for the cancellation.  If you wish to cancel the appointment, enter your reason and click the "Cancel Appointment" button.  If you made a mistake, click the "I don't want to cancel" box.

Cancellations on-line can be made up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

Rescheduling a Lesson or Event (back to top)

To reschedule a lesson, you must first cancel the lesson or event.

Once the lesson has been cancelled, schedule a lesson or event for the new day and/or time that you need.

Changing Your Login or Password (back to top)

To change your login or password or any personal information, click on the "Account" menu item at the top of the main screen.  Update any information you would like and click the "Update" button.

What are some of the most common errors?

Purchasing the wrong type of package

Make sure you are purchasing the right type of package for the type of lessons you would like to schedule.

Choosing the wrong tutor

Certain tutors do certain types of Test Prep and certain types of Subject Area Tuoring.  If you select a tutor and don't see the service you are looking for, it means that tutor does not do that service.  You must pick a different tutor.

Assigning A Lesson to a Package that is Full

If you have a package and are booking a lesson, you must choose a package to assign to that lesson.  If you get an error message that says "There is no availability remaining on your package.  Please purchase another package before making your next appointment.", it means that the package you selected is full.  If you have other packages that you have purchased, please try one of those before purchasing a new package.  If you have no other packages available or they are all full, then you must purchase another package before you can schedule the lesson.
