ACT Prep
The American College Test
(ACT) is a subject oriented standardized test designed to test a
student’s educational development and capacity to complete college-level
work. The ACT tests four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and
Science. The Writing section is a fifth section that is optional;
however, schools may require this section for admission.
Our full ACT Preparation course is a comprehensive program that has been
developed here at Creative Dimensions over the course of the last
twenty-six years. It consists of fifteen one-hour private sessions. We
do offer different ways of customizing your preparation. We HIGHLY
recommend the full preparation in order to assure maximum results, and
the highest possible composite score. However, in some situations, a
review of only one or two subject areas is ideal for the student. These
sessions are broken down by skill area in the following manner:
5 sessions focused on English and Reading
4 sessions focused on Math
4 sessions focused on Science
2 sessions focused on Writing (optional section)
Additional sessions may be added
in any skill area at the student’s discretion. This allows students and
tutors to focus the preparation on the subjects where they feel the work
is needed.
Limited Preparation:
SAT/ACT Limited Preparation: (only for students who have completed a
full SAT preparation)
2 sessions of English and Reading
2 sessions of Math
3 sessions of Science
1 session of Writing
